Happy Anniversary! What a lovely tribute to the realities of marriage. Like you, I find myself incredibly fortunate to share my life with my best friend. Marriage is hard and, in some ways, a most unnatural way to live life. That said, I know some people manage to fashion it into a workable and pleasurable experience. Glad to know you've hit upon such a thing.

Maybe your sense of purpose can be writing your business plan? Job hunting? I know what you mean, though. We all think it will be so great to have free time and be able to work on creative projects and whatnot. And then when we have the free time, we…sit on the couch and watch old episodes of 90210. Alas.
