The three level study guide is a really good idea!!! I saw that strategy in the book also and thought it it is a really good way to introduce thinking about texts that the students read beyond a literal interpretation. I did more of a basic study guide but after reading about the three level study guide, I included questions that involved all three levels of comprehension. The vocabulary and study guide strategies look really good and they complement the lesson well because they do not require as much time as other strategies might have which is good for this lesson because we are limited with the amount of time we have to work with in a one day lesson plan…really good job!
